Lantern Spaces

I am interested in the nature of the light from the lantern spaces on the new building and would like to design something for these spaces. I have indicated on this first image the direction of the light that I like the look of with red arrows (click on image to enlarge):

I have decided that I would like to design something for just one of those lantern spaces. I really like the elongated open space and would enjoy the challenge of working towards such a large scale. I have indicated in the next image the exact space that I want to design for (click image to enlarge):
