Digital Print

Today I picked up my digitally printed image that I sent last week. I chose to have it printed on cotton voile, a thin and lightweight fabric with an almost "see-through" quality. This print out is of a much smaller scale than I actually am designing for. The sample is 150cm by 15cm, and my design proposal is to stretch the height of three or four floors of a building. Having this sample makes my design feel real and existing rather than hypothetical.
