Dashing Tweeds

I had another look at some of the work previously made by dashing tweeds. I have picked out a couple of the more "blended" checked pieces.

This image in particular stands out to me as the colours are beautifully blended together to create this gradiant of colour. Also the twill-like weave structure reflects the chevrons I have seen previously. I will bear this techniques of blended colour in mind for my weaving.

I like these two samples because although they are checked, they are a bit more tonal and blended. The use of colour and proportion is key to creating something like this.
