During this drawing exercise I was attempting to recreate reflective light and colour. The idea behind this was to photograph the paint whilst it was still wet to capture the essence of the light in a different way. The actual finished painting is nothing like the photographs I have taken, as most of the colour/shapes/lines have been created by the surrounding environment and different light sources. I will use these photographs and create some different repeats using photoshop. I will also have a go at enhancing the colouring of these images to give a slightly more vibrant colour palette.
The broken horizontal lines could be played around with during my time in the weave room, perhaps with the use of floats or a blanket warp? I am yet to decide this.
